Access

Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up.
— - Pablo Picasso

The ACMC is working in our rural communities to make sure that all people, regardless of age, ability, or socio-economic status, has access to the arts. Through our Youth Programming Fund and our art classes, we hope to everyone with the opportunity to experience the arts at every stage of their lives.

appreciation

I say in speeches that a plausible mission of artists is to make people appreciate being alive at least a little bit. I am then asked if I know of any artists who pulled that off. I reply, ‘The Beatles did’.
— Kurt Vonnegut

The ACMC believes that art, in all forms, deserves to be appreciated. 2D and 3D Art, Dance, Music, Theater, the Digital Arts, and everything in between - the arts, and their impact on our communities, deserve to be appreciated and celebrated.

Empower

Every artist was first an amateur.
— Ralph Waldo Emerson

Artists not only add to the creative landscape of their communities, but are economic drivers as well. The ACMC hopes to help local artists grow as business professionals and help them take advantage of economic opportunities in our region.
